A live collaborative installation created for Nest’s 20th Anniversary Celebration and fundraiser at St. Joseph’s Art Society in San Francisco.

The piece began as a hand-painted, textured redwood on cradled wood panel. Throughout the evening, guests added colorful threads, building a web that mirrors how redwoods hold each other up through interconnected roots. It symbolizes the partnerships Nest has built between global brands and artisans around the world.

The finished piece was auctioned to benefit Nest and sold to a prominent former NFL player. Guests included San Francisco’s First Lady, the CEO of Hermès Americas, and representatives from Gap Inc., Target, Anthropologie, and Mastercard.
